When I first met Vicki and Fred, they painted an incredible picture of the dream wedding they hoped to create – natural and green, with dusky pink flowers, copper accents and stunning terrariums.
Fast forward to the 27th April, and all the planning and emailing suddenly became a beautiful reality. The blank canvas that is The Darenth was magically transformed and the results (even if I do say so myself!) were breathtaking!
Vicki’s bouquet was a stand out for me – one of the most beautiful I have ever had the fortune of creating. The ingredients some of my absolute favourites.. from the sensational dusky pink Cafe Latte Roses to the Butterfly Ranunculus, the Waxflower to the floaty Eucalyptus.. every stem perfection.
Vicki and Fred married under a statement copper arch created by the Groom himself. The flowers and foliage arranged in a stunning asymmetric design to compliment their incredible vision. It was truly the perfect way to frame their ‘I do’s’.
Their table decor was equally sublime with a modern mix of terrariums and high rise geometric stands. You will continue to see these stands everywhere in 2019, they truly are the tablecentre of the moment! Full to bursting with natural, flowing Eucalyptus foliage and their stunning choice of dusky pink flowers – the look they created certainly had the WOW factor for their guests.
The little terrariums were the perfect match, with green Moss, Succulents and a handful of flowers. An absolute joy to create and the ideal thank you gift to give away to guests.
Vicki and Fred were such an immense pleasure to work for and I will be forever grateful to have played a small part in their love story.
What can I say.. Rebecca at a Lilac and Lace was truly a rare find. She instantly understood our vision and after our first meeting provided us with a detailed mood board that captured all the details and creativity I’d been struggling to express. The service we received was personal on a level that no other florist I’d met with had achieved. I knew from the moment we met Rebecca she was an absolute professional and on our wedding day she went over and above what I’d been expecting. My bouquet was absolutely stunning, our centrepieces were simply perfection, she truly is the queen of foliage. I can’t recommend her enough, and I’m so glad we chose her to be forever a part of our special day.
